HOW IT WORKS

Set it down. It knows.

What each of the six faces does out of the box, what you can change, what stays put, and how it works with your car, your TV, your music, your phone and your house.

What it does out of the box

Set the cube down on a face and that face wakes up. The other five keys become that face’s five jobs. Nothing to set up. Pick it up and it is ready for the next one.

The face resting on the table is the one in charge. That is the whole idea. You choose a face by putting the cube down, not by hunting through a menu.

What you can change

What stays put

Two things are fixed, and both are fixed for a good reason.

Use it with

One cube, the things you already own. Each of these is a face you can set it down on.

  2. Press to call the person you call most.
  3. Press to put the phone to bed for an hour.
  4. Press to find it when it is down the back of the sofa.

Your house in development

This is the face it rests on while it charges, so it is the one you press on the way in.

  1. Press once and the lights come up.
  2. Press once and the house goes to bed.
  3. Press for warmer, press for cooler.
  4. Press to see who is at the front door.

Everything on this page is what the cube is being built to do. The parts are printed and in testing. Nothing here is for sale yet, and every line marked in development is on the way rather than finished.
