Step 1 · web simulator
The ClikCube ONE, before the parts arrive.
A real ClikCube ONE running in the browser, 55 mm across with 36 mm universal keys. Press the keys, roll it, dock it. The face it rests on picks the environment and the other five keys become that environment's controls. Every event it fires is the same event the firmware and the phone app will use. Made by Ben Brown.

Every key stands 2.5 mm proud, so setting the cube down presses that face's key. On a flat table the frame face stops it after those 2.5 mm, which is past the switch. On the dock a raised platform takes it the last 1.5 mm, the full 4.0 mm stroke, and the fixed plug mates through the slot in the bottom key. Either way it is a resting_press, not a click, and it stays pressed until you lift the cube. Keyboard: 1 to 6 press the keys, space shakes, F flips, D docks.
Press a key on the cube, roll it, or set it down. Every event shows up here.
Turn on part labels and tap a pin to read what is inside.
Linking here is simulated. Nothing signs in and nothing leaves this page. It shows what the phone app will connect to and proves the key maps and status dots work. What you turn on is remembered in this browser.
